The summer internship award program offers stipend support for two positions annually. Each award recipient will receive a $2,200 monthly support for up to eight weeks (two months). The award maybe used for travel, lodging, and living allowance.
The internship program starts on the second week of July after Independence Day and ends in late August. However, for those who seek four week internship, the starting time is decided on an individual basis.
Students participate in the summer internship program are expected to work under supervision ona selected project. A report is required at the end of the internship. An evaluation from the project supervisor and Prof. Ping will be provided.
Previous recipients of this summer internship award were all accepted by prominent universities including Harvard, Duke, and Stanford. They are listed at our laboratory website (www.signalingmodules.org).
