Recently, arrived from Prof. Gorg’s Proteomics lab, I joined the group to further characterize the composition of the 26S proteasome in cardiac cells. For accomplishment of this task, I employ various electrophoretic and mass spectrometric approaches. In general, my interests are in stress response and protein degradation in prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
